American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee doesn't want her sophomore album to duplicate the sound on her debut. Kat tells M-T-V, "I'll probably be making a much different record next time around -- maybe something more adult. I definitely have thoughts and ideas -- maybe more like the female version of John Mayer. The wheels are turning.
