What will the new Green Day album sound like? The guys has been working on the new record for about a year now, but they just recently opened up about their next offering. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong tells Rolling Stone that the he’s written about 45 songs and that this time, he’s written a lot of them on piano, not guitar. So when will the album come out? Billie says, “We’re only in our second year of bearing down and finding out what we want to do… I just want to put my head down and keep grinding at it.”
