Pat Monahan has been part of Train for more than 13 years. This past September, though, he put out his first solo album, Last of Seven. For him, the creative control he was allowed during his solo venture was something new. (“There is no other reason for a song to make an album other than one person feeling passionate about it, instead of a group of different reasons and so I guess the process for me did become really freeing.”
Pat Monahan’s Last of Seven is in stores now; he plays Milwaukee, Wisconsin tonight.
